The winter season is quickly approaching, and so many of us are dreaming of snowy days out on the slopes... That includes many of your students in the Comox Valley and Campbell River, most who have never had the chance to try skiing or snowboarding before. Teachers, here's your chance to win them an epic day together here at Mount Washington!

WIN a Free Mount Washington Snow Day Prize Pack for One Classroom (~50 people). What do you win?!

1. Access to students' choice of activity. Either Alpine: skiing/snowboarding, or, Nordic: cross-country skiing/snowshoeing
2. Beginner lesson, rental and ticket packages for students to enjoy one Snow Day together - chaperones access free, too! Up to 50 total participants. 
3. Bus transportation to and from your school in the Comox Valley or Campbell River, within school hours
4. Lunch and snacks provided by the Mount Washington catering team
5. Class Swag Pack: Mount Washington stickers, keychains, lanyards, custom mountain colouring worksheets, and other small prizes!

How to Enter to WIN a Free Snow Day for your Classroom:

1. Film a video with your class, 30-seconds to one-minute long
2. Upload your video to an online sharing platform such as YouTube or Vimeo
3. Fill out and submit the Snow Day entry form and include a link to your contest video
4. Our Panel of Judges will review all contest entries after deadline October 28, 2024
5. Three winning classrooms will be selected for 1 of 3 Free Snow Day Experiences
6. Winners will be contacted on November 4, 2024

Video Entry Guidelines:

• Videos should be 30-seconds to one-minute in length total (any longer may disqualify your submission)
• Video can be filmed on a cell phone or other basic camera device
• Videos should explain to our panel of judges why your class would love to experience either a Snow Day of alpine skiing or snowboarding, at the Nordic Centre Raven Lodge cross-country skiing or snowshoeing, or sliding in the Tube Park!
• Videos can include skits, puppet shows, presentations, poems, stop-motion graphics, or other creative mediums; feel free to show off your classrooms skills, or keep it simple and tell us about your genuine love for playing in the snow .
• Video entries should be uploaded to YouTube, Vimeo, or other online streaming platform that can be viewed by anyone with access to the link. Videos can be private/unlisted to the general public as long as the Mount Washington team can view.
• Give your class a nick name! The Snow Day contest form will request a unique identifier to describe your classroom.
• Bonus points if your video is created by the students themselves! We love to see their creativity and love for snow shine.
