PSIC SKI INSTRUCTOR COURSE
PSIC: Professional Ski Instructors of Canada
The Professional Ski Instructors of Canada offers a new system of training, education and certification to the ski industry and instructor community in Canada. A direct relationship and partnership with ski schools will drive a curriculum that specifically caters to current and future ski school & industry demands. Principles of excellence, inclusivity and respect will provide a superior learning environment to aspirational and ski teaching professionals.
- Spark your interest and excitement through a fun and engaging introduction to ski teaching.
- Expose the purpose, potential and responsibility in the role of the ski instructor.
- Provide guidance for creating fun, safe, learning adventures for first-timers through green and easy blue run skiers with a primary focus on children.
- Provide you with basic concepts and practical tools to equip you for your first lessons in a snow school.
- E-Learning Component — approximately 45 minutes to complete at home, at your own pace prior to the on-snow component
- On Snow training is three days, approximately 4.5 - 5 hours per day

CSIA SKI INSTRUCTOR COURSE
CSIA: Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance Level 1 Ski Instructor Courses
The CSIA Level 1 Certification Course is open to anyone with an interest in learning about how to teach skiing. Candidates on the Level 1 Course will explore skiing technique and teaching methods on Beginner up to Intermediate terrain.
Courses are three days in length and will focus on personal skiing skill improvement along with teaching skill progression and safe teaching practices.
Must be 14 years or older to attend.

CASI SNOWBOARD INSTRUCTOR COURSE
The Level 1 Instructor course is an introductory certification, aimed at giving new instructors some basic tools and training to teach beginner and novice snowboarding.
- PRE REQ
- 15 years of age on the first day of the course
- Fluent in either English
- Demonstrates comfortable and safe riding skills on intermediate terrain
