Learn to Ride
Introductory Group Lesson

Learn to Ride is an introductory group lesson package tailored to first-time downhill mountain bike riders looking to get a taste of the Bike Park. If you’re comfortable riding a bike on pavement, we’ll have you loving our easy cruising trails and learning areas in no time! Class sizes maximum 6 guests per group.

Includes:

  • Full-day lift ticket
  • 2-hour lesson
  • 2-hour bike rental*
  • 2-hour armour rental*
Lesson Availability:
  • DAILY at 12:00pm and 2:30pm
  • SATURDAY & SUNDAY at 5:30pm
  • Lessons are based on Guide availability
*Bike & armour is returned at lesson end, upgrade options available.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

Introduction to Position & Balance skills through “Climbing”, “Neutral” and “Ready” positions, as well as how to achieve good range of movement.

  • Proper braking techniques using both brakes.
  • Effective trail scanning for smooth, efficient riding.

FAQ's
What happens to my Bike Pass if the Resort does not open or is closed part way through the season due to the Covid-19 pandemic?
A)   The Mt. Washington Bike Park opens for the season Saturday, June 27, 2020. Season passes are valid for the duration of the season purchased for, regardless of the actual season end date, as opening and closing dates are planned but not guaranteed.  If extreme circumstances do arise resulting in an unexpected closure of the resort, Bike Pass Holder policies will be reassessed and communicated as such.
