Herb Bradley Adaptive Snowsports Festival: VISAS SEE ALL

The Herb Bradley Snowsports Festival is an annual event sponsored by The Vancouver Island Society for Adaptive Snowsports (VISAS) and hosted by Mt. Washington Alpine Resort on Vancouver Island.

The program is offered to people with learning challenges who would like to expand their horizons and learn an exhilarating sport that can become a lifelong activity.

Anyone over the age of six years old and who has some ability to learn is welcome!  We offer novice lessons in downhill, snowboard or cross country skiing as well as a ski improvement segment if you have some experience. We are able to accept a maximum of 25 students; however "first-time" applicants will be given priority in the selection of participants. We have historically hosted 20-25 students per festival, limited to only our available volunteer instructors. The Adaptive group will set a short, two-track racecourse be set up beside the tubing carpet on Thursday, Jan 6, 2022 for a guestimate race to be conducted after lunch (1:30 pm – 2:30 pm).
