Mount Washington

Soar above the mountain with a chairlift ride! The ride to the top lasts 15 minutes, allowing you plenty of time to soak in the awe-inspiring alpine-to-ocean views. The panoramic view from the summit (1588m elevation) includes Strathcona Provincial Park, the Comox Glacier, Mt. Arrowsmith, the Strait of Georgia and even Mt. Baker on a clear day. Interpretive signs identify the unique flora and fauna found in our mile high alpine as well as the more distinct landmarks you are able to view along the self-guided tour on the easy bark mulch trails. You can choose to take the breathtaking chairlift ride back down, or for the more adventurous, hike the rugged downhill trail back to the Alpine Lodge.

Daily operations: July - September 2016 Summer Hours

Lift-Accessed Mountain Biking

Mountain biking is returning to Mount Washington. We are very excited to announce that, following a three-year hiatus, the Mount Washington Bike Park will reopen this summer for lift-accessed mountain biking!

Alpine Action Pack

Do it all in one day! Includes 1-day unlimited Mile High Chairlift access. Family rates available (up to 4 people).

  • Mile High Scenic Chairlift Ride
  • 1 Session Bungee Trampoline
  • Disc Golf
  • Mini Golf

Bungee Trampoline

Standing in the centre of the trampoline, two bungee cords are lowered and securely attached to the specially-designed harness. Once fastened, the bungee cords are retracted to the appropriate tension and the rest is up to you! The combination of trampoline and bungee cord will bounce you high into the air with little effort, allowing you to flip forward and backward in complete safety.

  • Secured and safe in your harness, you are free to experiment with acrobatic movements and summersaults.

Disc Golf

Green Acres is a challenging and fun disc golf course that takes about an hour to play. A great way to spend a sunny day in the alpine.

Disc golf is played much like traditional golf, but instead of a ball and clubs, players use flying discs, much like a frisbee. A specially-weighted golf disc is thrown from a tee area to a target, which is the "hole". The most common hole is a chain-link basket.

As a player progresses down the fairway, each shot must be taken from where the previous throw lands. Our course has long and short tee-offs on each hole and there is a variety of "hazards" that makes each hole challenging and fun. Our 9 hole disc golf course is located next to the Alpine Lodge and is designed to be enjoyed by the whole family. It's a Par 31 course, and takes about an hour to play.

If you have been wondering what all the hype is around disc golf, now is a great time to come and play for yourself. You can also catch some of our local experts make some extraordinary shots on this challenging mountain course. You can spend some time at “Hole # 10”, Ted’s Bar & Grill, for an exciting après with cold beverages and delicious menu choices.

Eagle Links Mini Golf

Putt-Putt for the fun of it at the Resort's very own Eagle Links! Is your putt up to par? Challenge your friends and family to a round of Mini Golf action on Eagle Links. It's 9 holes of astroturfed excitement!

You will find the Eagle Links Mini Golf course located just outside Tread Shed below the load station of the Eagle chair. Putters, golf balls and score cards can be found in Altitude Sport & Gift.
