The race fee INCLUDES insurance. A race license is not required.
The race entry fee DOES NOT INCLUDE YOUR LIFT PASS, but Mt Washington is selling one-day lift tickets at a discounted rate to all racers (prices do not include GST):
Adult $39 (18+)
Child (7-12) $24
Senior (65+) $34
Youth (13-17 year old) $34
These lift tickets must be purchased either the morning of the race or during the early racer check (Aug 14, 5 PM-7 PM), so unless you have a season’s pass make sure you have some money on hand when you check in on race day. Also, there will be a waiver to sign, so if you’re a minor (under 18) make sure you’re accompanied by a parent/guardian.

We will have food and drinks waiting for you when you finish your race, and as long as COVID allows it, we’ll have podiums and results on site asap after the last rider finishes.
Once the race is over, results are in, and the course has been cleared, the park will open and your pass will get you to the top of the mountain for party laps the rest of the day.

A few notes about registration:
Once you’ve signed up you’re locked in, so double check your details and make sure you’re signing up for the correct category before hitting the confirm button. There will be no refunds, changes, or transfers of registration. Registration will be limited to 220 racers. Once it sells out, that’s it. There’s no waitlist. For those who have raced Island Cup events in previous years and are used to a little flexibility, I apologize for the rigidity of these policies. Keeping up with all the last-second requests for changes/refunds/transfers/waitlists was almost impossible at the best of times, not to mention coming back into this a bit rusty so we need to keep things simple if we want a smooth-running event.
Lastly, this event will not happen without a ton of volunteers, so if you’re not racing, come on out and lend a hand. In addition to some sweet trail karma and a warm fuzzy feeling, you’ll also get lunch, a lift ticket to use for the rest of the day after the race, and an additional lift pass to come back and ride for free this summer.
