Katie-Ellen Humphries is a standup comedian, writer and sketch performer whose comedy has been featured on CTV, CBC Television, CMT, APTN and OUT-TV and whose comedy album Ladyfinger debuted at the top of the charts on iTunes/Apple Music in 2020. With a sensibility that falls somewhere between the library and the locker room this performer has become a favourite of audiences across Canada and the U.S., including regular appearances on CBC Radio’s The Debaters where she has also worked as a writer and Associate Producer. Katie-Ellen is also a 3-time Canadian National Open Water 5k Swimming Champion. That’s unrelated to comedy, but it explains the shoulders.
Confident, sassy and queer. Patti Savard shares her life experiences as a transgendered woman in our current world. Growing up in the 80's and 90's, and having to live as male most of her life, has given her an interesting perspective on social behavior. Ready or not, she will tell you what she has learned with her passionate expression and animated delivery.
Patti is a frequent performer at Yuk Yuk's and was featured on Mark Breslin's comedy extravaganza at Massey Hall in Toronto on New Year's eve
Jason Martin may be a single gay man in the throes of a midlife crisis, but nonetheless, a fresh face to B.C.’s comedy scene. His appearances include YukYuk’s in Vancouver, Lafflines Comedy Club's "The Attic" at House of Comedy in New Westminster and The Second City Studio Theatre in Los Angeles.
Joanne Tsung (she/her) was born in sunny Taiwan and immigrated to rainy Vancouver in the 90s with her mom, dad and two older brothers. She majored in English Literature and Gender Studies at the University of Victoria. In 2018, she found solace and community in writing comedy and has performed stand-up in Vancouver, Toronto, Manitoba and Seattle. She has co-hosted Burnaby Pride for the past three years with Canadian Comedian Sasha Mark. She has been featured on the documentary Well Rounded by director Shana Myara (Vancouver Queer Film Festival, Seattle Queer Film Festival, KASHISH Mumbai Festival, BFI London LGBT Film Festival) CBC Pride, CBC News and just released specials for OutTV called Killjoy Comedy and YVR Funny Season 2 with Telus Optik TV and Storyhive. She has written for photo journals, zines, recipe books, queer glossaries, and editorials and has appeared on various podcasts wearing a full face of makeup before she realized it’s audio only.
