Spend your holidays this year with us at Mount Washington Alpine Resort! We've got twelve days of bright and cheery fun planned for all ages, starting December 20th and bringing in the new year until January 1st, 2025. Drink hot cocoa and spend time with Santa; surround yourselves in our Christmas lights, and wear your ugly sweaters and Santa hats with all of us here at the resort. - Holiday Night Ski begins each night 3:30 pm - 9 pm starting Friday, December 20th, 2024 - January 5th, 2025
- Nightly NEW Fireside Dinners happening at Raven Lodge December 21st, 2024 - January 4th, 2025
- Holiday Shuttle Transport happening nightly to Raven Lodge from the Alpine Lodge and to the villages
- Daily Après Live Music entertainment at Raven Lodge and in Ted's each afternoon throughout the holidays!

Photos with Santa

Alpine Lodge
The Holly Jolly Man himself will be making a pit stop to take photos with everyone and hear their Christmas wishes. Santa will be visiting Mount Washington from 1 pm to 3 pm sharp on December 21st and 22nd in Santa's Village, located in front of Eagle View Bistro outside of the Alpine Lodge. Then he will be on his way to circle the globe. Take your own photos, or have our jolly Event Volunteers snap your picture and print on a Polaroid.
Snowman Building
Dec 23, 27 & 28 - 11 am - 3 pm

Nothing says wintertime like building a snowman with your friends and family! Gather around and help create a snowman village outside the Alpine lodge. Have no fear; carrots will be provided so each snowman can have that picture-perfect nose!
Movie Nights
Dec 23, 27, 28 & 30 - 6:30 pm - 9 pm
Whiskey Jack Room
Free entrance, plus all-you-can-eat popcorn and hot chocolate. Bring blankets, pillows or bean bag chairs and get comfy! Sit back and enjoy holiday movies on the big screen, with big sound in the Whiskey Jack room. Sit back and relax while watching a movie with your family after a long day of hitting the slopes. We will be showing a family-friendly holiday movie (TBD on movie screening) in the Whiskey Jack Room; offering popcorn and other snacks free of charge! Bring your own as well. It is highly recommended to dress in comfortable clothing and to bring blankets or pillows for optimal viewing.
Holiday Gingerbread Decorating

Show your cookie-decorating creativity! Bring the family to the Whiskey Jack Room to celebrate the holidays and to show and enjoy free treats with the help of our event volunteers! These gingerbread cookies are made fresh in-house by our head baker, Andrea! Her special recipe is oh-so tasty. Make sure to leave a cookie aside for Santa! *11 am to 3 pm OR While supplies last*
Boxing Day Torchlight Parade and Fireworks

Whiskey Jack Run
An annual Christmas season favourite! Come up and enjoy this free family fireworks display and Torchlight Parade, with viewing areas at the Alpine Lodge on Boxing Day, which is also Ugly Holiday Sweater Day. The parade starts at approximately 7:00 pm followed by the fireworks display. Arrive early for a good view out front! Night Skiing is in operation for those who wish to watch from the slopes of Whiskey Jack. *Mountain Staff participating in the Torchlight Parade can sign up day of
Holiday Pajama Rail Jam

Strut your stuff at our free-to-enter FUN, Holiday Pajama Rail Jam! Show us your best moves and have the chance to take home some wicked prizing! A new addition to Mount Washington's 2024 Holiday in the Alpine events!
Smores Firepit

There's nothing more iconic than sitting on a snow-covered mountain around a wood fire, toasting marshmallows on a stick, followed by a delicious chocolate bar and a crispy graham cracker. Campfire songs are strongly encouraged. *While supplies last
New Year's Eve Fireworks

Easy Acres
Celebrate New Year with us at Mount Washington, an annual favourite! Come up and enjoy this FREE family fireworks display, viewable from the Alpine Lodge. The fireworks start around 9:00 p.m.
