The Slush Cup 

Participants must be in costume to sign up starting at 10 am on the same day of the event! 

An annual favourite! Participants dress in outrageous attire and straight-line it over the giant custom slush pit, showcasing their finest moves. The challenge is to cross the pit without getting wet! We promise a more pond-skimmable experience this year... Prizes given out at random for best costumes, best jumps, and crowd favourites!

The spectator show is planned to start at 1 pm, on Sunday, April 13th outside The Alpine Lodge. Participants under 19 years old must have a parent or guardian present to sign their event waiver.

Pond Skimming Tips:

• Speed is your friend.
• Don’t lean back; keep your weight centered and tips up.
• Bend your knees and keep your hands forward.
• Wider skis (most skimmers say) help with float.
• Bring an extra pair of boots and dry clothes for the day.
• Have a splash!
