DESCRIPTION:All are welcome to visit the mountain and watch or join in to b
 e part of the action over this exciting weekend! VI Bike Festival invites 
 the enthusiasts\, the casual cyclists\, the curious and the energetic to p
 artake in activities and events all throughout the weekend. The Bike Park\
 , Zipline Tours\, Sightseeing and more attractions are open and ongoing th
 roughout race festivities. Music in the Mountains takes to the stage on Sa
 turday afternoon from 3 – 5 pm\, featuring Oktiv6 and Funkyard\, followed 
 by the Whip Off presented by Forbidden Bikes featuring tunes from local DJ
  and staff member Alpine Ambiance. Sunday is the main event\, the annual S
 tevie Smith Memorial DH Race\, and spectators are encouraged to cheer on r
 acers tackling the gnarly Monster Mile trail. This year is a Canada Cup! D
 onations of weekend proceeds go toward the Stevie Smith Legacy Family Foun
 dation in support of our local communities\; special thanks to Tianna Smit
