BC Snowboard Grom Series Jam

The Grom Series Jam is a grassroots event for young snowboarders aged 8-12. It combines the basics of our sport with fun competition, getting them pumped up about the snowboard community and opening their eyes to all the possibilities boarding can offer. Participants will have the chance to showcase their skills in an afternoon park jam after a morning of freeriding coached by BC Snowboard certified coaches. 

Program Goals:  have fun/ build confidence/ progress/ make friends/ meet coaches

Schedule for the day: 

• 9:15 am-9:30 am - Camp Check-in 
• 9:30 am-11:00 am - Coached Freeriding/Speed
• 11:00 am-11:30 am - Lunch break   
• 11:30 am-11:45 am- Head to the Terrain Park!     
• 11:45 am-1:45 pm - Terrain Park Jam/Style  
• 1:45 pm-2:00 pm - Awards, Stand-out performances and Goodies!
