From March 20, 2020 12:00am until March 21, 2020 11:59pm

Monster Energy Boarderstyle is back again for 2020! The four-stop tour is coming back to Mount Washington, along with three other resorts awarding over $50,000 in total prize money. This is a one-of-a-kind snowboard contest conceptualized by Monster Energy Canada and it is once again charging through British Columbia this winter.

Every stop of the Monster Energy Boarderstyle Tour is free to enter and open to all competent riding abilities. It is a snowboard-only event consisting of a Men’s and Women’s open category. Watching the chaos or competing in it is only half the fun; Monster Energy won’t just show up, they’ll bring the their legendary after-party with them. Monster DJ’s will keep the party lit till there’s nothing left in the tank. Don’t be caught on the outside looking in, make sure you attend the Monster Energy Boarderstyle Tour 2020!

Boarderstyle is a hybrid of boardercross, slopestyle, and an obstacle course race where four riders run the gauntlet simultaneously. Mount Washington creates a unique course consisting any combination of jibs, jumps, berms, rollers, pond-skims, spines and step-ups. A table-top jump awaits racers at the finish line. On this feature, it is mandatory to perform a full rotation trick (360 spin, flip, or greater). Riders are initially placed in the order they cross the finish line, until the judges results come in. Judges then have the power to change the placing order of the riders in contention based on the difficulty, style, and execution of their final trick. Dreams can be shattered, glory can be stolen.Boarderstyle begins with a qualification round and moves to a tournament-style bracket system where the top 2 placing riders from each round advancing onto the next until there is a 4 rider final race for the prize money.

Registration may be available at the check-in desk on the Marmot Floor between 9am and 11:30am if spots are available.
