E-mail Signup Mount Washington's alpine meadows and old growth forests are a snowshoeing paradise! We are situated at the edge of Strathcona Provincial Park, the oldest provincial park in BC, containing 250,000 hectares of pristine wilderness. Walk out our back door and into the park where you will experience the beautiful wilderness this area is known for. Our seven marked trails all start just steps from the Raven Lodge, and offer over 16km of varied terrain. We have trails that are beginner friendly, as well as some that will provide a challenge to those seeking it. We offer a Discover Snowshoeing package that is described below, as well as Customized Snowshoe Tours.

Snowshoe Tour & Fondue Dinner
Enjoy an hour of snowshoeing through stands of majestic old growth forest in Strathcona Provincial Park, then return to Raven Lodge to enjoy a three-course fondue dinner. Your dinner will include a Swiss cheese fondue, followed by a meat and seafood fondue, finishing with fresh fruit and chocolate fondue for dessert. This event takes place every Friday and Saturday night and is very popular, pre-booking is required. We will depart the lodge at 5pm, please arrive 30 minutes in advance and come see us in the rental shop.
This is a very popular tour, pre-booking is required. Departs Fridays and Saturdays at 5pm from the Raven Lodge.

Discover Snowshoeing - An Introduction
Join one of our daily Discover Snowshoeing sessions and have an experienced guide introduce you to what snowshoeing is all about. This introduction is a safe and fun way to try snowshoeing while in the company of a guide who can share their knowledge of the area and our trail system. The tours depart daily at 9am, 11am 1pm, and run for 1.5 hours. Please arrive 30 minutes in advance and come see us in the rental shop at Raven Lodge.

Snowshoe Tours - A Customized Adventure
Join one of our experienced guides who can put together a plan for an unforgettable adventure into the wilderness. The options are endless and you can have the opportunity to learn or practice route finding, compass use, snow safety, and backcountry travel. Head out to one of the many alpine lakes in the park, climb up a ridge and take in the amazing views, pick a point on a map and see if you can reach it... your guide can come up with a plan that will aim to provide you with an awesome adventure.
This is an excellent option for school groups, sport or social clubs, teams, and work groups. Contact our guides at the Rental Shop in Raven Lodge.
