Vancouver Island Biathlon Club
The Vancouver Island Biathlon Club is a biathlon club based out of Mt. Washington, on Vancouver Island. Biathlon is an Olympic sport that combines the physical challenge of cross country skiing with small bore rifle marksmanship. Our club boasts one of the best, fully-automated ranges on Vancouver Island.
Strathcona Nordics
The Strathcona Nordics are Vancouver Island’s Cross Country Ski Club. We are a non profit society dedicated to skier development and the promotion of the sport of cross country skiing for fun, fitness, recreation and health.
Podium of Life
The Academy provides schooling at Mount Washington, allowing students to train daily on snow while earning grade appropriate education including high school credits towards graduation.
Section 8 Snowsport Institute
Section 8 Snowsport Institute runs ski instructor courses, snowboard instructor courses and mountain leadership training programs that are taught at Mount Washington.
Mount Washington Freestyle Club
The Mount Washington Freestyle Club offers coaching in all aspects of Freestyle skiing (moguls, big air, terrain park & 1/2 pipe).
Vancouver Island Society for Adaptive Snowsports
Mount Washington's award winning adaptive skiing program is made up entirely of volunteers and is available every day. Offering programs for both Alpine and Nordic skiing.
Vancouver Island Riders (VI Riders)
Professional coaching for snowboarding in the disciplines of Slopestyle, Big air, Boardercross, and Rails.
