Cooking Classes

Features a sumptuous variety of cooking-class seminars taught by local and guest chefs using the produce from the Alpine Marketplace. These special cooking demonstrations will use dishes or a theme to highlight the chef’s culinary passion as well as the bounty of the Comox Valley. Classes start at 10am, 12.30pm, and 3pm and are approximately one and half hours.

Events to satisfy every food lover's cravings! Start with the Gourmet Alpine Cocktail Reception on Friday night with cookbook signings, wine and appies. Saturday features a myriad of cooking classes sure to please. Saturday night the gala dinner and wine pairing is the star of the weekend. Sunday the Alpine Marketplace is a great place to get the supplies needed to try out the recipes learned in the cooking classes and graze on samples from the valley's top producers.

The Alpine Market showcases the finest of local and Island talent and celebrates products from the farms, ranches, waters, kitchens and galleries of the Comox Valley and beyond. Meet the chefs and taste the wonderful dishes they create as they pair with local producers for an afternoon of grazing and tasting. Guests are encouraged to nibble as they stroll the marketplace, with cooking demonstrations happening throughout the afternoon.
